New transport card for Unemployed people in Madrid.
Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid has launched a new card for long-term unemployed people covered by the Employment Activation Program.
The main purpose of this card is to help unemployed people making their mobility in public transport easier.
The date of entry into force of this new card will be 16 November.
Unemployed card conditions:
- First 30 days customers will have to pay a fixed price of 10€. Then, they could add to their cards disabled people and large family discounts.
- long-term unemployed people covered by the Employment Activation Program.
- Unlimited travel by bus on public transport in Madrid
Customers who fulfil the conditions could apply for the new card in the public transport offices. They have to show a document proof of admission in the Employment Activation Program.
