Sustainable mobility
The urban transport service to the port area of Barcelona and the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) will have a clear commitment to citizenship and sustainable mobility, based on policies to reduce environmental impact:
-
Use of fuels with biodiesel that will reduce polluting emissions.
-
Renewal of the fleet of hybrid-electric coaches to reduce environmental and noise emissions.
-
Prioritize the use of category A-C tires, for the reduction of fuel consumption and less rolling noise.
-
Use of LED lighting to reduce light pollution.
-
Use of digital thermometer to improve comfort temperature management.
-
Installation of temperature probes to improve the ambient temperature
and the relative humidity.
These services will also have a mobile application aimed at people with cognitive difficulties, various disabilities and elderly people, and a communication channel on board the buses called Linea-TV in which they will play entertainment content, information, dissemination and promotion of public transport or communication of incidents on the service, among other things.
