Monbus increases its beach bus services
Summer season has started and the number of travelers who looks for beach destination has increased. Monbus has increased bus services to the most touristic areas, Costa Daurada in the Catalonian Coast and The Rías Baixas in Galicia.
Customers from Catalonia have access to special services from 1st July to 31st August, departing from Igualada or Manresa to San Salvador, Coma-ruga, Calafell, Cunit or Segur de Calafell. Monbus offers special prices to travel from Irún, San Sebastián or Pamplona to the beaches of Salou.
The south of Galicia have different summer destinations which are very well connected with the most important towns thanks to the bus routes designed by Monbus.
From Pontevedra, it’s available the bus route Atios - Torneiro - Porriño and special services to the most famous beaches: Playa América (Mondays, Thursdays and Wednesdays) and Playa Samil (Tuesdays and Fridays).

When it comes to the connection of interior provinces, Lugo and Ourense, with the Galician Coast, buses routes leave from Sarria, Rubián, Bóveda and Monforte or O Barco, A Rúa, San Closio, Monforte and Escairón which are connected with Playa América, Samil, Sanxenxo, A Coruña, San Miguel de Reinante or Ribadeo.
Other special bus routes to the south beaches are: Verín - Xinzo - Samil ( Fridays and public holidays), Ourense - Samil (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), Ourense - Sanxenxo - Portonovo - Montalvo - A Lanzada and A Toxa (Sundays, public holidays)
