Monbus celebrates 100 years of Hispano Igualadina
Hispano Igualadina, member of Monbus since 2009, turns 100 years of history in the passenger transport sector. It was in 1916 when Josep Queralt Martí established the company.
Company’s name comes from the famous car brand, Hispano - Suiza, and the town where it was born, Igualada. The company has increased his area of influence because they have purchased passenger transport concession in different towns of Catalonia (Tarragona, Martorell, Vilafranca del Penedés…)
In 2009, when Hispano Igualadina becomes part of Monbus. Nowadays this company offers urban passenger transport (Abrera, Esparraguera and Vilafranca del Penedés) and metropolitan transport in Barcelona and Tarragona
