Monbus at the vanguard of security
Monbus wants to offer the best security to its customers, for that reason the company launches the second phase of the normative number 661/2009 from the European Parliament and Council. The incorporation of 24 new Mercedes - Benz Tourismo 16RHD coaches are part of the modern fleet. The new normative makes reference to the obligation of new coaches to have LDW (lane departure warning) and EBS (emergency braking system) electronic systems. This normative has to to be applied only for those couches registered from 1st November of 2015.
In particular, Castrosua Stellae, Mercedes - Benz Sprinter 516 and 519 Noge Touring HD 12960 models includes, a part from an advanced equipment, an electronic system known as BAS (brake assist system) and EBA (emergency brake assist). This technology, devised by the German company Mercedes - Benz, combined with the ABS, reduces the braking distance in the case of an emergency.
On the other hand, Mercedes - Benz Tourismo 16RH, 16RHD and 16RHD6 incorporates the LDW system (lane departure warning), which uses a camera situated behind the windscreen. This camera detects accidental lane changes, warning the driver by a vibration in the seat. Besides, the AEBS system is a proximity radar that prevents situations that could endanger the safety of the coach. The advanced braking system warns the driver of a possible collision and if it is necessary reduces the velocity in emergency situations.
All these elements linked with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic brake force distribution (EBD). All these systems help to rise the security of our passengers, which is the main goal of Monbus.
Without any doubt, the commitment of Monbus is shown through our three business lines; regular services, ocassional services and rental car services.
