Monbus works for health promotion
Monbus proposed in 2018, as an improvement strategy, to promote health among its employees. During this time, Monbus has integrated into its Management System the requirements of the "Healthy Company Model", promoted, among other entities, by FREMAP Prevention Society.
As a result, those factors who have more impact in work environment have been identified and evaluated and actions have been taken to improve them. It means going further mere regulatory compliance, including, for example, actions to promote healthier lifestyles among workers (e.g., with awareness campaigns on healthy eating) or improvements in the psychosocial environment (work organisation and organisational culture).
At the end of May 2019, companies belonging to Monbus passed the first certification audit and obtained the distinction according to the "Healthy Company Model".
This is just a starting point, from which Monbus will continue to promote actions among its employees to improve the protection of their health and quality of life. Safety and well-being of workers has always been among its priorities. Proof of this is that the main companies belonging to Monbus maintain in force, since 2011, their certificates according to the standard OHSAS 18001:2007, Occupational Health and Safety.
