Monbus reinforces its environmental commitment
The protection of the environment and the fight against Climate Change are two immovable goals in the roadmap that Monbus has been following for years. Under this pretext, Vibasa and Maldeasa, companies adhered to Monbus, have just passed the verification audit according to Regulation 1221/2009 (EMAS III), an excellence model for environmental management.
The implementation of this Community Eco-Management and Audit scheme reinforces Monbus' commitment to the environment. Vibasa and Maldeasa are the first of the companies belonging to Monbus to have an advanced management system that has demonstrated its effectiveness in improving the environmental performance of organizations.
With EMAS verification, companies demonstrate greater rigour in complying with current environmental legislation and greater involvement in improving environmental performance. Greater transparency is also encouraged, given the additional requirement for periodic publication of information on this subject.
