Monbus joins the Incorpora Programme
Monbus has signed an agreement to join "a Caixa" Incorpora Programme to promote the social and occupational integration of people at risk of social exclusion. Its objective is to help people in vulnerable situations to access employment in accordance with their aptitudes and motivations.
This agreement reflects Monbus' commitment to people and reinforces the standards of equality, without discrimination because of sex, race, age or any other condition on which its hiring policy is based. With this collaboration, Monbus' commitment is fundamentally to favour the hiring of vulnerable groups.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the heads of Human Resources of Monbus, Leandro Arruti and Carmen Cayuela; the director of the social and labour integration department of the "la Caixa" Banking Foundation, Jaume Farré; and the coordinator of the Incorpora Galicia programme, Carlos Rosón, at a ceremony held at Monbus' headquarters in Lugo.
More opportunities
Incorpora was born in 2006 with the aim of establishing bridges between companies and social entities dedicated to labour integration in order to create a climate of collaboration and opportunities for those who need it most. The initiative is aimed at groups such as people with disabilities, young people at risk of exclusion, immigrants, ex-prisoners, victims of gender violence and long-term unemployed people.
Incorpora offers companies a free service of advice and support in social responsibility actions, in this case focused on the labour integration of people in vulnerable situations.
During 2018, Incorpora de "la Caixa" facilitated nearly 31,000 job insertions for people at risk or in a situation of exclusion thanks to the collaboration of more than 11,000 Spanish companies.
