Bus express services will be reinforced in Manresa and Olesa
This Wednesday, 11th July, Monbus will start an important reinforcement of the service that connects Manresa and Olesa with Barcelona. More Bus Exprés will be offered.
This initiative follows a commitment made by the Department of Territory of the Government of Catalonia in order to improve a service that Monbus took over in 2016. In this way, these two services will reinforce the Bus Exprés line.
Both lines will increase the number of express services: Exprés e22 Manresa - Barcelona will risen from 11 to 22 and the Exprés e23 Olesa - Barcelona from 9 to 12. There will be more services on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays, and during the month of August too. You can check timetables in the following link.
This implies four new buses, two for express lines and the other two for the lines with stops. These vehicles are high-capacity, Setra-Mercedes Benz brand, the most comfortable, efficient, safe and reliable on the market, and meet EURO VI standard, classified as Category C. New vehicles have active safety systems: EBS, ABS, ESP, ASR, BAS, ROM and LAC. These buses are accessible for people with reduced mobility, with a space reserved for a wheelchair and platform lift, as well as, WiFi and press on board.
