Monbus in the Catalan Mobility Day
The Campus Motor Anoia will held the fourteenth edition of the Catalan Mobility Day on the 6 and 7 June. Organized by the Association of Municipalities for Mobility and Urban Transport (AMTU) in collaboration with the Regional Council of l’Anoia, Monbus will be there as part of the sector.
Hispano Igualadina company has been part of the development of Catalonia since 1916, connecting more than 300 towns around Catalonia and Andorra. For that reason, this event is important to know the future scenario that opens in Catalonia with the arrival of the autonomous bus and its use in public transport. Issues such as safety, legality, urban and landscape changes and transformation municipalities or culture model of mobility will be debated.
Besides, Monbus will offer transport to all participants, both on their arrival and to go to activities that will take place in the Parc Motor.
As developments in the context of the day, we see an autonomous bus on display for the first time in the territory and presented the first initiative that could bring the autonomous vehicle and use public transport to the Catalan municipalities from this September.
