Monbus Obradoiro wins against Gran Canaria
Monbus Obradoiro comes back to delight its fans with a new victory against Herbalife Gran Canaria in Multiusos Fontes do Sar (79-65). Once again, Obradoiro fans have showed its support to team success.
Herbalife started strong and after ten minutes they were 12 points ahead (17-29), so Moncho Fernández asked for time-out. David Navarro hit a three-pointer which marked a turning point. Defensive mode was on and Artem Pustovyi was the guarantor. Obradoiro played to catch up with Herbalife (32-33).
Gran Canaria team started second half without its best shooter, Eriksson, who had to leave the court due to an injury. Once again, Matt Thomas (20 points) shined with his own light. Obradoiro was in the lead on the scoreboard and only 4 minutes to the end they were nine points ahead.
Now in fourth position of the Endesa League and they are level on points with FC Barcelona Lassa.
