Celebration of the European Mobility week

European Mobility Week takes place from 16 to 22 September. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment encourages European municipalities to introduce and promote sustainable transport measures and to invite people to try out alternatives to car use in order to prevent health and environmental problems.

Since its introduction in 1999 this campaign organises activities to promote sustainable mobility and other good practises. This edition focuses on clean, shared and intelligent mobility. Intelligent transport and cleaner modes of transport promotes the aim of this European Mobility Week.
