New journey Manresa - Barcelona
This new service will start on 17th December offering more bus services than before. Single journeys between the Capital of Bages and Barcelona will increase from 27 to 36 and in the opposite direction from 24 bus services to 34.
The increase of bus services meet the demand of customers from Manresa who consider that the number of bus services offered at peak times was not enough. From now on until 7 am will leave seven buses from Manresa, three more than before. Also, we will increase services between 9 am and 10 am, as well as, during the last hours of the day. Monbus will offer direct bus services and more bus services on weeekends.
Monbus, through Hispano Igualadina company, will be offering regular bus services between Manresa and Cataluña’s capital (Barcelona).
The new journey belongs to the ATM (Autoritat del Transport Metropolità) integrated tariff system and will have three different services:
Manresa - Barcelona direct service: it will go from Manresa to Barcelona through the Vallvidrera Tunnels and come back by the regional road C-55.
Manresa - Olesa - Barcelona.
Olesa - Barcelona.

This new journey will be serviced by modern buses of the Monbus fleet with the latest equipment in security, accesibility, sustainability and comfort: seat bealts, free Wi-Fi, individual sockets/USB plugs, reserved seating for people with disabilities, LED lights, double-glazed tinted windows and WC. Furthermore, they will be equipped with Tracking and Monitoring systems (SAE) for locating the vehicle which will allow passengers to have real-time information at to the waiting time until arrival of the next bus, time to arrival, etc.
This new journey, as well as all the services operated by the company (regular bus services and rental services with or without drivers), is a part of the Monbus’ philosophy to promote quality services.
