The Obradoiro comes back to Fontes do Sar
The early riser Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro started the pre-season training in Fontes do Sar. They are the first ACB team who starts working before the Endesa League begins.
This first training session was attended by 8 of 12 players, so Santi Yusta, Artem Pustovyi, Shayne Whittington and Mickey McConnell couldn’t attend to it.
The team worked under the coach Moncho Fernández and the technical body. This first training means a back to work in less than two weeks before the pre-season: the 1st September they will play against the Divina Seguros Joventut in Memorial Quino Salvo (Vigo). Besides, the team will also play the R3 International Basketball Tournament in Leicester (United Kingdom) from 9th to 11th Setember against the Leicester Raiders and the Crelan Okapi Aalstar. Furthermore, they will take place in the I Torneo Internacional de Arequipa (Perú) from 16th to 18th of September, where they will play against the Sky Flamengo, the Bahía Basket and a Peruvian team. Finally, the 25th of September they will play the Galicia Cup Final in Noia.
A strong stage will finish and the Endesa League 2016/2017 will start the 1st and the 2nd October with a match home against Laboral Kutxa Baskonia.
